On Monday we had the day to finish off our project and be ready to present it to the rest of the group at 3.30. I wasn't having the best of days so I found it hard to focus but I worked through lunch and luckily managed to get it finished for the deadline.
I was really proud of myself and my final piece. I chose to work entirely in paper and made a dress with lots of different sized roses on the back. I wanted to show a real contrast between the harsh sharp angles on the front of the dress and the romantic feminine feel of the roses draped around the back. The feed back I received was positive and there were comments on how it was a extremely structural and interesting piece.
I found this project really beneficial as it taught me how to work with a theme in mind and to a deadline. I love the dress I made I just wish I could wear it.
