London Fashion Weekend

Roll on the weekend!! On sunday I'm heading up to London to go to London fashion weekend. My super star boyfriend managed to get me free tickets from someone he knows that runs the event. Lucky me!

There is going to be catwalks rounding up the key looks for SS10..... Im excited!!!

Rachel Bakewell @ Frank Agency

I have fallen in love with a stylists work. I first saw Rachel Bakewells work in my boyfriends T3 magazine. I though it was amazing as this is a mens gadget magazine and she managed to turn the shoot into high fashion interesting girl friendly images.

I have since looked into her work and think she is inspirational and I aspire to be as creative as she is. Her work is mainly editorial and she tends to use a great contrast of light and dark, black and white. She also has styled many celebrities mostly for magazine shoots.

The September Issue

I watched The September Issue last week on channel 4. Its a film/documentary about the September issue of Vouge following editor Anna Wintour on the creation of the issue. I was amazingly inspired by the stylist Grace Coddington,she styled several shoots for the issue and the results were truly amazing.

This has encouraged me to really focus in on my ambition to be a stylist and follow all of her work from now on.
